So much to tell. Ok so I had to sign up again for the gym (I pay a full year up front) so I decided to join a different gym. crunch fitness is the best gym, I love it they offer classes, which my other gym did not. I signed up for a free personal traning session and I liked it so much I bought 3 sessions. Yesterday he kicked my butt, but the good thing is I made it out alive and so happy that I went! Also I went for another clinic appt and I lost my 15lbs required for me to get the surgery done. jan 26th I will find out my surgery date. I am still on the south beach diet, I bought the cookbook which has more recipes in it to try. I am super excited now that I have been going almost everyday to the gym. I want to my heart to be strong and healthy for this surgery! Will post more layers 😊
I need to loose at least 6lbs before I see my Nut in beginning of January and another 3 before January 26th so I can finally get my date. I have been struggling to get motivated to workout. I don't know what is going on with me...I guess since my second weigh in at clinic I had a 3lb difference in weight as I did at home...I was like OMG I lost 10lbs just to go find out at clinic on their scale it was 7lbs. Don't get me wrong I'm excited about the 7, it was just a lil discouraging that it wasn't the 10lbs. Today when I get home I'm going to pop in a DVD and workout for 30mins I need to get this off. Especially since I haven't been accountable for my workouts lately. Hi YALL, so today is the first day that I will be away from home, since doing the south beach diet. I am on phase 2 already so I know I can eat more then phase 1 allows. So I will be staying at a girlfriends house this weekend to watch my Godchildren. This whole eating thing is already a challenge and now I'm adding 3 kids in the mix who LOVE the processed food I am no longer allowed to have! Lol I know it's all mind over matter, it's just gna be real hard making their food and snacks and then doing mine. I just don't want to pick up my bad habits again. So I will be praying all weekend long and all day! Well I'm off to make a wonderful breakfast (oatmeal with sliced strawberries and then eat a hard boiled egg for my protein!) and pack up my CPAP machine and I'm off! Talk to YALL laters 😊
Good morning YALL. I am at the hospital waiting to get called back into the pre op area. So my feelings right at this moment: I am nervous but I know I am in good hands. I think for me it's just the waiting game that I get nervous about. Ok so I will update after procedure 😊 UPDATE: hey YALL, sorry for updating late, but the procedure went well. I was so sleepy I slept until 6pm, my throat is a little sore, but that is to be expected. The doctor said I had a hiatal hernia, which he will fix when I have my surgery. He did do some biopsies. He said he will know more when he gets the results back, but he told me I might not be able to get the VGS but I might have to do the RNY. So needless to say I am kinda bummed but he hasn't ruled it out yet. I guess I am nervous with the RNY that I will become extremely sick and end up in the hospital with dehydration and be malnourished 😁. But for now I will not allow myself to worry about it. I will know more when I see him in January. Hey YALL 😊 my name is Cherise. I wanted to write a blog about my weight loss journey. The good, bad, ugly and whatever else comes to mind! 😉 so I started the process back in October. The process seemed so fast, one week going to the seminar, to the next week going to my physc eval and going to my first appt with the bariatric clinic. The same day I went and did all my blood work and had my doctors send over my sleep study and my ECHO results. Tomorrow I go for the EDG test in the early morning. So far I have lost 7lbs on the south beach diet. I have to loose 8lbs by January 26th. To see the Doctor. My current weight is 306.2lbs, my highest weight was 330lbs, and my weight when I got on scale at my first clinic appt was 313lbs. I'm looking forward to writing more soon. Talk to YALL soon. 😊 |
